hello from Southern Texas. My call is w5twt and i have been trying to contact Iceland for several years with no success. my son is currently a Mormon Missionary in Gardabaer. he has served in Selfoss, Akureyri, Gardabaer, and Reyekjavic. he loves Icelandic people. anyway, Hello from Texas, where at this time there are areas really having a problem with a major Hurricane which is leaving major flooding in South East Texas. We are doing fine in South Texas, just getting ready for higher gas and food prices for a while. GOD Bless and thank you for your website.
An ideal antenna for limited space and made to withstand inclement weather. See this link for further

Hello, my good friend Jakob. For those who do not know; Jake was my mentor and Chief Investigator while I was stationed at NAS Keflavik (2000-2001). I made Chief in 2001, so I had to move to Physical Security, but we remained friends and have stayed in contact thanks to FB. I was honored to have Jake pin one of my anchors on at my Chief Pinning Ceremony; one of my proudest moments as a Sailor.
Jake, I love the pictures you have on this site; I'll see if I can find some more for you. Take care and keep in touch.

Hi all,
I am currently working on a personal website. My goal is to produce a simple and a user-friendly site focusing on my hobby (Amateur Radio) and perhaps some other issues as well. I am still in the beginning phase; adding and tailoring the design, working on a photo gallery and so on. Feel free to sign in at any time and display your thoughts and comments.
Good luck with your new site and hobby..
Happy new year!

Pamela

Hi Jakob,
I haven’t had the pleasure to speak with you yet, not that I can recall anyway, but I look forward to doing so in the future. I am occasionally on 14.178 in the morning and sometimes in the evening. ESSB is the only aspect of the Hobby that I am now interested in also. I like your Website, very easy to navigate. I am listed on QRZ.com.
Thank you.

Hi Jakob
I was wondering do you or any of the guy’s up in your area have a “Freq or Band” that you’s go on so i could pop in now and again just for a chat? I do not hear a lot of station’s from Iceland and it would be good to catch up again, was really good getting you and Ari on at the same day, made my day, that was the first time i have ever spoken to Iceland!
All the best Jakob to you and the family 73s
